BAYERNINFO MAPS offers "Route Planning for Cars" and "Travel Information for Bus & Train" in one app – all free of charge!

Surprises along the way become less frequent. Being aware of road constructions, closures, and delays in advance equates to less stress and lower travel costs. And if something unforeseen happens during your journey, you always have alternative route recommendations at your fingertips.

BAYERNINFO MAPS provides essential information for your trip planning:


- Current traffic conditions with all known road constructions, closures, and traffic updates for the whole of Bavaria
- Images from around 500 traffic cameras along highways, federal and state roads in Bavaria and adjacent regions (due to current developments in Europe, the images from traffic cameras are currently available to a limited extent)
- Intermodal route planning for cars as well as buses & trains, optionally including Park & Ride, bicycle, and pedestrian options
- Stops and POIs – current departure times and delays in public transport
- Road construction calendar for the phone version
- Route overview: current delay times on selected routes at a glance


Finally, a brief explanation of why the app requires certain permissions for specific purposes:


- Precise location (GPS): Necessary for displaying your own position and routing from/to your own location
- Full internet access: Necessary for accessing server-side services (map, point-of-interest and route search)
- Access to protected storage: Necessary for caching (storing temporarily) map data
